Review of previous meeting minutes:
Minutes from the 1 OCT 2024 meeting were reviewed. Lance Wang moved to

approved.

Call for opens:
   none

AR review:
 - Randy will work on writing the specific tests that the parser should run (BUG227)
Done and added to the parser contract draft 3 for review

New ARs:
 - Randy to send the parser contract draft 3 to Lance, Michael, and Weston.

Discussion:
a. IBISCHK8 parser contract draft including BUG227 discussion
Randy showed draft 3 of the parser contract with added text describing 5 possible
tests using [AMI Test Configuration] data. The parser can use the data as input
   to AMI_Init and/or AMI_GetWave functions to generate AMI_parameters_out strings
that can be parsed for the root name. The root name can then be compared to
the root name in the .ami files.

Randy summarized for Michael the previous meeting's discussion about possible
long parsing times if IBIS files contain many sections of [AMI Test Configuration],
   especially with AMI_GetWave functions.

Michael asked if there was a way to estimate processor time for the new parsing
functions. Randy responded that the AMI_GetWave functions only need to be run for
one block (wave_size) of data, so this helps to limit the processing time. AMI_Init
processing should be minimal. He added language to this effect in draft 3.

Randy noted that more details could be added in the draft about how the parser should
pass data in and out of the AMI_Init and AMI_GetWave functions, but he did not plan
to add that much detail yet.

Randy to send the parser contract draft 3 to Lance, Michael, and Weston. [AR]
